Things to Remember when Fooding on Campus
It was Taco Tuesday and yesterday was just a Monday. I wasn't expecting the long lines. I was just there the day before and I was sure that this would be the shortest line as usual, I am usually happy with what this line offers, the home cooked meal (culturally traditional most times). With my satisfaction from yesterdays meal Chicken Parmesan with a self made side salad from the salad bar (not to mention the home cooked styled food and the salad bar normally never have lines which falls in line for my rush to get in, get out, and eat policy).

First of all I didn't know what I was hungry for and I am always impatient when it comes to lines. I was standing there thinking about fulfilling my appetite and soulful needs and was caught off guard by the abundance of choice, not to mention the size of the lines caused me to be apprehensive about what food source type would best fulfill my fooding needs. I chose the taco line, not realizing that there was a Taco Tuesday theme at the line that I stood in that although was very long moved very swiftly. It gave me thought to give advice about some key things to keep in prospective when rushed to eat at the same time appreciating that which you purchase for your personal fooding satisfactions. You only need two key things KNOWLEDGE and PATIENCE.
Knowledge: Realize the Day
Understanding what your school offers on different days is important for your fooding experiences when you are on time restrictions. What does your school offer on different days. In example I had no idea that it was Taco Tuesday. I didn't know that the line that is usually short was packed with people who were excited about cultural cuisine. This particular line served home made meals that differed from the daily stir fry option as well as the daily fun fooding option of pizza, burgers, fries, and cheese sticks. People were desiring the option that match the day. The tacos, the choices between shrimp or beef, the Mexican rice, the guacamole, the sour cream, the abundance....the satisfaction. Had I known about this day I would have made hast to get in that line before wasting time considering so many choices.
Patience: Be Patient
Patience is very important when dealing with any campus food service. First of all the practice of fooding (anything that involves your personal food experience) cannot be rushed. When coming into a fooding opportunity one must be well aware of the possibility that things can change. Change can occur for a variety of reasons, smells, appetite, time allotted, and options offered. In all you do regardless of off learning and understanding and appreciating the ability to be patient when it comes to what you eat and how it can positively or negatively impact your day is not something to take for granted. What you put into your body can be good or bad for you, rushing can cloud your decisions and leave you in a less than desirable situation while on campus.
